It's rare to see details in the sky when you live in New York City because of all the noise pollution. But when they said North America will get a front row seat to the Supermoon, I had to find a way to get the shots someway somehow.
So I tracked through a dark wooded park to find a good spot with the least light. It was not successful, but the moon was so big I still got some decent shots. The moon looked huge at first, and then the eclipse made it turn bloody red. It was a sight to behold for sure.
I got a bonus shot of the highway near by. Next Supermoon eclipse will be in 2033. Good thing I caught it. What the bloood clooott!
